Our Classes

Ballet Classes for All Ages and Levels

Preschool ballet (ages 3–5)

Budding Ballerinas

Our Budding Ballerinas program is a gentle and joyful introduction to the world of ballet. Designed especially for young dancers, classes focus on basic ballet movement, musicality, coordination, and listening skills through imaginative play and storytelling.

In a warm, nurturing environment, students begin to develop confidence, body awareness, and a love of dance while learning how to participate in a structured class setting. This program lays the foundation for future ballet training while keeping the experience fun, engaging, and age-appropriate.

Early school-age students

Primary Ballet

Primary Ballet builds on early movement skills while introducing students to the fundamentals of classical ballet technique. Classes focus on posture, alignment, coordination, rhythm, and musicality, helping dancers develop strong technical habits from the beginning.

Students also learn important classroom skills such as focus, discipline, and respect — all while maintaining a positive, encouraging atmosphere. This level supports both physical development and personal growth, preparing dancers for progression into structured ballet levels.

Primary to early teen levels

Bronze · Silver · Gold Ballet

These levels form the core of our structured classical ballet program. Dancers progress through Bronze, Silver, and Gold with clear expectations, consistent technique development, and increasing artistic challenge.

Classes focus on strength, flexibility, coordination, and precision, while also building performance confidence through regular stage opportunities. Students are encouraged to set goals, take pride in their progress, and develop resilience and teamwork alongside strong technical foundations.

Advanced levels

Platinum and Brilliant

Platinum and Brilliant are designed for committed dancers seeking advanced technical training and performance pathways. These levels place a strong emphasis on refined technique, artistry, musical interpretation, and stage presence.

Dancers are challenged both physically and mentally, developing discipline, confidence, and a professional approach to training. Performance opportunities play a key role at this stage, allowing students to apply their skills in meaningful, real-world settings.

Performance and Concert Participation

Performance is a cornerstone of training at Ellenbrook Ballet Academy. Eligible students participate in concerts, showcases, and live performances designed to build confidence, composure, and pride in their achievements.

Through performance experiences, dancers learn how to prepare, work as a team, and present themselves with confidence on stage. These moments help transform technical training into life skills that extend far beyond the studio.
